ऐतिहासिक रुपमा पहिलो पटक नेपालमा संविधानसभाको निर्वाचन सम्पन्न भएको छ ।  निर्वाचनको परिणाम पनि  करीब करीब आइसकेको छ । केही स्थानमा निर्वाचन हुन बाँकी रहे पनि अधिंकाश ठाउँमा निर्वाचन भइसकेको छ । निर्वाचनको परिणामले माओवादीलाई ठुलो दलको रुपमा स्थापित गराएको छ । अहिलेको चुनावी परिणामले सवैलाई आश्चर्य तुल्याएको छ ।

दस वर्ष भन्दा बढी हतियारको लडाई लड्दै आएको माओवादी पहिलो पटक संविधानसभाको निर्वाचनमा सहभागी भएर बहुमत हासिल गरेको छ । निर्वाचनको यो परिणामले विश्व समुदाय समेत अचम्ममा परेको छ । यस्तो परिणाम आउँला भनेर स्वयं माओवादीले समेत कल्पना गरेको थिएन ।
तर जनलहर अप्रत्यासित रुपमा उर्लिएर माओवादी तर्फ गइदियो । यो परिणामबाट माओवादी समेत दंगदास देखिएको छ । माओवादी नेतृत्वले समेत आफनो पक्षमा यस किसिमको जनलहर आउला भने सोचेको मात्र हैन कल्पना समेत गरेको थिएन । तर वास्तविकता अर्कै भइदियो । निर्वाचनको परिणामले माओवादी मुलुककै सवैभन्दा ठुलो दलको रुपमा स्थापित हुन पुग्यो । पहिलो र दोस्रो दलको दर्जा पाएका काग्रेस र एमालेलाई यो परिणामले पछि धकेलेर छाड्यो । 

प्रत्यक्ष निर्वाचनमा उत्साहजनक परिणाम नआउने देखेर नै माओवादीले समानुपातिक निर्वाचन प्रणालीको मागलाई अघि सारेका थिए । (more…)
